Helping readers and lifelong learners live more meaningful lives through books and history.
Allow me to introduce myself. I am
Lady of the Library
The internet is noisy. Quick takes, hot opinions, and endless distractions make it harder than ever to slow down, think deeply, or enjoy a good book. I created Lady of the Library and The Annotated Mind because I believe we need spaces where curiosity, storytelling, and reflection are protected.
My purpose online is simple:
to make books, history, and ideas matter in the modern world.
Whether I’m sharing a dark folktale, unpacking ancient history, or reflecting on productivity and the self-examining mind, my work exists to help people reconnect with knowledge — not as trivia, but as wisdom for living.
If you believe, as I do, that books save lives and stories change the way we see ourselves and the world, then this is your corner of the internet too.
Cinzia DuBois.
I’m PhD student in Classics and Ancient History, the creator behind Lady of the Library (270k subscribers) and the Annotated Mind podcast. I explore how history, literature, and philosophy shape the way we live, work, and think today. My goal is simple: to make books and stories matter in our everyday lives and encourage everyone to engage with the world intellectually (regardless of their academic background).
